Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley is coming to Assiginack!  Heather Jefkins has partnered with the Township of Assiginack to bring this wonderful adventure to our community. Your child will make a Flat Stanley and then it travels with a Canadian Armed Forces member and they become penpals for the year.

There are 9 spots open for kids in grades 4-8 to have a year with Flat Stanley travelling around with their military personnel.

There will be a commitment of 3 sessions in October in which Flat Stanley will be made and letters written and the program explained to the child. October 9, 16, 23 from 3:15 pm to 5 pm at the Assiginack arena in the activity room at back end.

After that it will be a meeting every month to continue to correspond with their military partner.

The cost is $20 for the year. Registration online is mandatory due to limited space.
