March Break Madness

Come out and enjoy the activities in Assiginack over March Break. Skating and crafts at the arena, see below.

The sliding hill is always open as is McLeans Park with groomed trails.

Skating is sponsored by amazing businesses and individuals.

March 10th

For Kids: Painting Craft 10 am – 12 pm -Painting using light and shadow to enhance dimension. This will be an acrylic geometric style painting. They will leave with a finished 10×10 painting and some basic knowledge about showing depth. Register at link below. Ages 7 and up. Cost is $8

March 11th

For Kids: Door Hanging 10 am – 12 pm We will first paint, then decorate and add words.. Register at link below. Ages 7 and up. Cost is $8

March 12th

Public Skating 1-2 pm Southeast Manitoulin Lions Club

Sponge Puck 2-3 pm – Loco Beanz/Cedar Chalet

Kids & Adults: Mushroom Macrame 6-8 pm. Make a cute mushroom and snail with macrame. Kids must be accompanied by an adult and both must sign up for the course. $10 each. Limited registration.

March 13th

Kids: Collage art using mixed media 10 am – 12 pm – On a canvas or board they will create a picture using ripped papers, yarns, ribbons, fabrics, buttons, and paint. Cost is $8. Ages 7 and up. Register at link below
