The recent storm has left us with a massive amount of ice to manage, and we wanted to give you a quick update on our progress. Because the buildup is so significant, the following facilities will remain CLOSED today while our teams work through the cleanup:
Under the Highway Traffic Act, the province enforces reduced load restrictions on trucks to protect Ontario's highways during spring thaw, when road damage is most likely to occur.
As of March 6, 2026 Assiginack Township will be under a reduced load restriction.
